I haven't worn my hair down in a very long time.  Every morning, I tie it back in a ponytail and continue on with my day.  Today, we had a little birthday party for Kate, so I wore my hair down.  When she saw me, she bawled her little eyes out and when I was snuggling with Ben later on, he asked...

Riverbend Gardens

On Tuesday, Ben went on a field trip to Riverbend Gardens.  He toured their greenhouse, ate a carrot, saw some chickens and pigs and planted a flower.  His favorite part however, was riding the yellow school bus for the very first time.

Quiet Time

Ben has been having a difficult time falling asleep at night so I've been sending him to his room for an hour of quiet time instead of an afternoon nap this week.  He's having a hard time kicking the habit...he fell asleep this afternoon five minutes before his time was up.

A Date With Kate

Kate and I had a little bit of time to kill this morning so we went on a date to Tim Hortons.  She had her first timbit (at 9:15 AM...but whatever) and was so proud of herself.

Kate celebrated her first birthday yesterday.  She woke up and played with her new water table from Boris and I and her singing purse from Ben:

Thursday Morning With Three

We’ve had busy week!  I’m caring for our next door neighbors little girl so Ben and Kate have had an additional playmate for the last few days.  We filled our week with preschool, play dates and trips to the park.  We bundled up in winter jackets on Tuesday and ran around in shorts Thursday afternoon (for the first this spring).  I braved Superstore with three children and they were all exceptionally well behaved.  There have been a few chaotic moments but overall it’s been smooth sailing...
