I haven't worn my hair down in a very long time.  Every morning, I tie it back in a ponytail and continue on with my day.  Today, we had a little birthday party for Kate, so I wore my hair down.  When she saw me, she bawled her little eyes out and when I was snuggling with Ben later on, he asked...

Riverbend Gardens

On Tuesday, Ben went on a field trip to Riverbend Gardens.  He toured their greenhouse, ate a carrot, saw some chickens and pigs and planted a flower.  His favorite part however, was riding the yellow school bus for the very first time.

Quiet Time

Ben has been having a difficult time falling asleep at night so I've been sending him to his room for an hour of quiet time instead of an afternoon nap this week.  He's having a hard time kicking the habit...he fell asleep this afternoon five minutes before his time was up.

A Date With Kate

Kate and I had a little bit of time to kill this morning so we went on a date to Tim Hortons.  She had her first timbit (at 9:15 AM...but whatever) and was so proud of herself.
