Welcome to Read. Eat. Play. Sleep. Blogging has been one of my aspirations since my son, Ben, was born in December 2009. I have created this space to share a glimpse of our lives with family and friends and to preserve my memories of parenthood as they unfold.
I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a mom. Now that my son is here, I am beginning to realize, more than ever how fleeting childhood is. Over the past 14 months, I have watched Ben grow, change and evolve into this amazing little being. Becoming a parent has been a life changing experience and, without a doubt, the greatest joy in my life so far. With every stage, we have shared many wonderful moments as a family of three and some challenges as well. I find, regardless of whether a phase melts my heart or brings me to tears it passes quickly and the memory fades over time. My hope is for this blog to become a collection of stories, adventures and photographs of the people, places and things that I love.
It will be gone before you know it. The fingerprints on the wall appear higher and higher. Then suddenly they disappear.
