In early December, Ben painted his first canvas. My plan was for him to create a piece of art for his bedroom by adding layers of paint to a large canvas until it felt "finished". Except, it felt complete right away. We named his first painting "Long River" and it's currently sitting on his dresser (eventually it will most likely end up in Boris' office at work).
Ben started a new painting today. He chose black and white paint. I added grey and white paint to one plate and grey and black to another. He used similar brushes to the ones he painted with the first time. I can't wait to see this project evolve...
